The House of Sora

A look from the Sora atelier

By Swapna Kopparapu

Our story

We make heirlooms for the women who wear them.

Sora is a luxury fashion house founded in Hyderabad by Swapna Kopparapu. Our atelier is a small, deliberate one — sarees, lehengas, and occasion-wear made slowly, in close conversation with the women who wear them.

We are devoted to the languages of Indian textile craft — hand-painted silk organza, beetled linen, fine zardozi, pearl-work, bead-work — and to the discipline of restraint. A Sora piece is meant to be cherished and worn often, drawn from heritage but built for the way you live now.

Every collection begins with a feeling — a season, a place, a kind of light — and unfolds slowly from there. Aurelle is a study in golden light and Victorian grandeur. Solace is a secret garden, drawn in muted tones and tactile silks. The thread between them is craft, intent, and time.

The Atelier

Made in Hyderabad

Every Sora piece is made to order in our Jubilee Hills atelier. Lead times run three to four weeks from confirmation. Visits are by appointment — write to us on WhatsApp to begin.

Heritage

Indian textile traditions

Silk organza, beetled linen, fine zardozi, and bead-work — drawn from artisans across the country.

Craft

Hand-painted and hand-embroidered

Every garment is built slowly, in close conversation with the wearer. Fit, fall, and finish are designed for the way you live.

Intent

Made to be worn

A Sora piece is meant to outlast the season. We make heirlooms — not trends.
